In class today we completed these study guides and read chapter 19.

Tuesday

Be prepared for the quiz over chapter 4 on Thursday.
Chapter 4 - Thus far we have covered the chapter in theis manner:

Monday - we checked chapter 4 study guide questions 1-14

Tuesday - We tok a quick 5 question quiz over the definitions covered in class on Monday. We cover all of this material in 1 semester.
http://www.sd215.k12.id.us/Government/Government-Home.htm

2009 First Semester Exam Schedule

Wednesday December 16, 2009
7:50 – 8:00 Report to 1st period/announcements
8:00 – 10:00 1st period exam
10:10 – 12:10 4th period exam
12:15 – 1:00 Lunch
1:05 – 1:55 2nd period tutoring
2:00 – 2:50 5th period tutoring

Thursday December 17, 2009
7:50 – 8:00 Report to 2nd period/announcements
8:00 – 10:00 2nd period exam
10:10 – 12:10 5th period exam
12:15 – 1:00 Lunch
1:05 – 1:55 3rd period tutoring
2:00 – 2:50 6th period tutoring

Friday December 18, 2009
7:50 – 8:00 Report to 3rd period/announcements
8:00 – 10:00 3rd period exam
10:10 – 12:10 6th period and Zero Period exam
12:15 – 1:00 Lunch
1:00 – 2:50 Make-up exams from Tuesday and Wednesday

I'm Back

Sorry for the misses over the last week. I will still place the daily information there but the students will have to pay close attention in class when we cover material. I will make this short and sweet so I can get back to bed before my head rolls off my shoulders. Today the students were assigned all of the vocabulary form chapters 5 and 6. They were also to complete the section 5 study sheet. Many of the items on the study sheet are vocab but they are to ID the items that are not vocab. I am hoping to be back tomorrow but I am making no promises right now.

For those who missed the test on Friday, you must make the test up tomorrow. I will have the test ready for Coach Richey to give to you if I am not there. Be sure to study. Your final grade is not correct right now.

The final grades are now posted on I-Parent. Understand that this is a semester course and in order to get credit they must have a 70 avg consisting of the 1st and 2nd 9 weeks plus the final exam. I will be sitting down in the next few days with the students that are not performing well in class so that we can get off on the proper path for the second nine weeks.

Thanks

Chapter 20 Review

<span style="color: red; Remember that Friday is the last day of the nine weeks and the grades will be ready and final on Tuesday.

<img $r="true" border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_pqRytEE5l_c/Ssoi8un0HJI/AAAAAAAAADE/0XmKd1gZF0g/s320/Chapter+20+Study+Guide.gif" />

Wednesday

Today we were out of the classroom for the first three periods. Remember that I will not spoon feed you, the only thing you will learn from spoon feeding is the shape of the spoon. Attached is the graphic summary for section 3.
