Test today

We ar e taking the test over chapter 3 sections 1, 2, and 3. This test also includes information on the Declaration Of Independence.
After the test we weill work on the chapter 3 study guide questions 1-7 and the vocabulary from chapter 3 section 1. Be sure that you have this information for Monday when you come into the class. The following graphic summaries will be used for chapter 3.

Chapter 2

The chapter 2 test will be Friday. Be sure that you are reading and completing questions from your study guide.

Thursday

Today we covered the information over the types of colonies and colonial unity. Please take a look at all of the notes and look ahead to the information at the end of section number 2 of chapter 2.

Tuesday

Today we completed the following items in class
1. Vocabulary - Chapter 2 sections 1 and 2
2. Study Guide - Questions 1-10.

Be sure that you have completed these assignments for tomorrows class. We are looking to split this chapter into two different parts. One on the Declaration and one on the Articles.

Test Today!!!

Today we took our test covering chapter 1. If you were out, be sure that you look over the information posted from previous classes and are ready for the test upon your return. If you have an opportunity, take a look at the HippoCampus site linked on the left of the page. Do not forget about the MLK holiday and no school on Monday. Have a great weekend.

Test Friday

Be sure that you have prepared for the test on Friday. Today I returned the quiz over section 1 and we completed our discussuion of section 3. For homework I gave a crossword to be completed as review for the chapter. Be sure that you have the crossword completed and with you tomorrow. Below you will find the visual review items for the chapter.

After last weeks half hearted attempt to get the new semester started, we are starting our first full week back. I will now set out to update the blog after my last class each day so stay tuned.
MONDAY
 During class on Monday we covered section one of chapter one and answered questions 1-4 on the study guide. Be sure that you take a look in particular at the powers of government, the theories on the creation of the state, the differences between the terms state, nation, and country. Below you will find the guide to the essentials page for section 1.
