AP Expectations
Students taking the AP U.S. Government and Politics course are responsible for all note-taking, in-class and out-of-class assignments, individual and collective research activities, participation in class discussions, and all primary and/or secondary source reading assignments.
On time and prepared for class daily.
All work is to be completed on time; no late work will be accepted.
No eating, no drinking soda or juice, water only.
Respect all thoughts and ideas that enter this classroom.
It is expected that each student’s work will be his/her own. Cheating, plagiarism, or academic fraud will not be condoned at any time in this course.
The difference between high school level work and college level work is the expectation that students will complete reading assignments and have knowledge of the material without the instructor covering all aspects of the material in class. Questions on tests will come from seminars, lectures, handouts, films, textbooks and any other assigned readings
